Skinny Banton Climbs To The Top Of TnT Chart

Skinny Banton’s monster hit for 2014 has ripped apart the musical charts at the world’s Mecca of calypso, soca and groovy music.

The song “Soak it” rose to the top of the chart of the popular Downtown Outlaws Promotion “Top 50 Soca Charts; a weekly chart of TNT music” published weekly in several newspapers across the twin island Republic. The song has been earning him several globetrotting moments.

The song was released for the 2014 Carriacou Carnival back in March and has been steadily climbing the various musical charts across the region.

In the August 31st compilation the song stood in the number one position followed by Romain Virgo in second and Busy Signal and RC in third to round off the top three of that week.

TnT natives Kes the Band was in position nine and the world’s soca guru, Machel Montano HD in position 23.

Skinny Banton whose real name is, Shirlan George, is reportedly currently on an international tour. Last year his song “horn” was one of the biggest tunes for Spice Mas.
