Michael X jailed on drug related charges

  • Written by  The Grenada Informer

Michael Charles commonly known around the St. Andrew’s environs as Michael X, a seasoned criminal is back in jail.

Mostly frequenting the villages of Telescope, Conference and Tivoli he has spent most of his adult life behind prison bars.

According to the prison officer who escorted Charles to the Grenville Magistrate court last Monday to answer a charge of possession of crack cocaine and an apparatus fit for the misuse of drugs, he is due out of prison by August 2018.

Michael X pleaded guilty to both charges and has been further sentenced to three months each on both counts to run concurrently with his existing sentence.

According to prosecutor the accused is already serving a sentence resulting from a conviction at the Grenville Magistrate court earlier this year for stealing and eating animals.
