St. Andrew woman holds  solitary protest against FLOW

A St. Andrew woman took the streets recently over what she said was the inadequate and regularly interrupted service she has been experiencing from telecommunications company FLOW. She staged an individual protest in Grenville last Friday. 

The woman said she is tired, fed up and dissatisfied with the company and therefore her only optionwas protest action to get her message to the company, affected customers and the public at large. 

Her final stop was in front of FLOW’s Grenville branch where she displayed her placard, which read: Watch. Talk. Click. Beware of the wolf in sheep’s clothing; please give us the service to sign up. She said the service customers have signed up and are paying for is not satisfactory and although customers have made numerous complaints to the company, the problem remains unsolved.

She added, should a customer refuse to pay the company’s bill, even if they haven’t been receiving the service, they are charged arrears or their service, which has never been satisfactory in the first place will be withdrawn she said.

“For the past week’s, she said the Internet service has been constantly interrupted and therefore subscribers have not been getting your money’s worth for an entire month, yet they receive bills for the full amount and that is unfair”, she said.
