50 Year-Old Dies at City Health Centre Bathroom

A fifty-year old man from the village of Woburn in St George’s was pronounced dead by medical experts on Tuesday shortly after he was discovered motionless in the bathroom area at the St George’s Medical Centre on Melville Street.

 According to information reaching the Grenada Informer, the gentleman who goes by the name of Phillip Weekes visited the facility to seek medical attention but never got to fulfil that intention as that mission ended with just a visit to the bathroom where his body was later discovered by someone who attempted to use the facility after him.

Bail For Murder Accused Deleion Hypolite

Twenty-two-year old Deleion Hypolite of Richmond- Hill, St George made her second court appearance on Friday last at the No.2 high court before magistrate Tahira Gellineau. She was granted bail in the sum of $60,000.00 with two sureties.

 Hypolite was charged with noncapital murder following the death of twenty-four-year-old Kadeem Scantlebury also of Richmond Hill St.George. The twenty-four old was stabbed during an incident that occurred on Friday, July, 14th and he succumbed to his injuries at the General Hospital on Saturday, July 15th.
