Grenadian U19 Medium pacer called to joined the WICB Training Squad

He hails from the village of Union in St Andrew, represented the Windward Island and Grenada as an Under 15 cricketer and today he has been called up to join West Indies Under 19 training squad in Antigua as the region puts final preparation in place in defense of its Under 19 world cup title.

The young and aspiring medium pacer Daren Nedd left the island last Friday for Antigua, he joined fellow Grenadian Emmanuel Stewart one of two players remaining from the 2016 victory team and Johann Jeremiah both of whom were already drafted into the squad at the commencement of training.

Speaking to members of media last Thursday, one day before leaving the island Nedd said he was confident that he could go out there and give his best. He hoped that his name would be among the list of West Indies Under 19 players called to travel to New Zealand for the 2018 World Cup.
